Let’s get right into it!
Nutribullet Blender Combo vs. Ninja Pro Blender 1000 Summary
Between these two machines, I feel that you’re way better off with the Nutribullet Blender Combo over the Ninja Professional 1000.
That’s because you’ll be able to do so much more with the Blender Combo than with this bare-bones Ninja blender.
This includes:
- Blending hot liquids with a vented lid.
- Getting multiple container sizes.
- Ability to use a tamper (which was previously only reserved for Vitamix blenders).
If you want to get a Ninja blender similar to the Nutribullet Blender Combo, you’re best getting the Ninja Mega Kitchen System, which has very similar features. Grab the Ninja Mega Kitchen system if your food-processing is a must-have for you.

Both Nutribullet and Ninja typically have a one-year warranty on their blenders. These two machines are no exception. Both of these brands (in my experience) have outlasted their warranty periods, making them an excellent pick-up for the price range.
Button Style
Both of these blenders come with straightforward analog interfaces. No fancy LED screens or any programming necessary. Just press a button to select the setting that you want.

The Nutribullet Blender Combo can do more than the Ninja Pro Blender 1000.
The main things that stand out about the Blender Combo unit are:

- The tamper tool has been previously only reserved for Vitamix blenders. It’s beneficial for making sure ingredients never get stuck on the sides.
On the other hand, the Ninja 1000 only comes with one size pitcher and can only do the essential blending.

Tamper

A tamper is a little stick that allows you to push ingredients into the blades from the top of the blender. If you want your smoothies to be “smooth,” then this is the absolute best way to do it.
Pushing frozen fruit and other ingredients into the blades makes sure that the blades pulverize and don’t chop.
You can see an example of me using a tamper on this picture of my Vitamix.

Blades
The blades on these two blenders are very different. The Ninja comes with a 6-blade assembly. These are 6-blades that stack up from the bottom to the top of the blender jar.
They’re good at ensuring that all ingredients get into the blades, ensuring that nothing gets caught at the top. My only critique is that they can “chop” more than pulverize. They work specifically well for making things like hummus and nut butter.
If you’re making a smoothie, I’ve found that you need to blend things a little longer if you want it to be completely smooth.
The blades on the Nutribullet are what you’d be used to in most blenders. They create a vortex and suck the ingredients in.
The benefit is that it will make things smooth once everything hits the blades. The downside is that sometimes you have to shift things around between blending cycles to get ingredients into the vortex.
Luckily, this isn’t an issue with the tamper you can use with the larger jar.
Power
As per the name, the Ninja has 1000 watts of power while the Nutribullet combo blender has 1200. This gives a slight edge to the Nutribullet in terms of power, but not much. This isn’t something you’re likely to notice while using the blenders.

Wrap Up
Between these two blenders, our favorite choice has to be the Nutribullet Blender Combo. It simply gives so much more versatility, has more power, and gives you the fantastic tamper tool.
While you probably won’t be disappointed with the Ninja Professional 1000, the Nutribullet Blender Combo is likely to become a staple in your kitchen for years to come.
