At Thrive Cuisine, our mission is to make veganism and plant based cuisine easy to understand, delicious, and accessible. Why Vegan? We believe that feeding the planet on plants is the most ethical, health promoting, and environmentally conscious option.

We don’t consider ourselves a “health” site, but presenting the latest in nutrition research is a big part of our mission. We will never try to sell you any sort of “health” or weight loss program, but rather point you to the experts who specialize in keeping our most chronic diseases at bay such as (but not limited to):

Make Vegan Food Unbelievably Awesome

At the same time, we don’t believe that being vegan is a choice made solely for health. If you want to be a “junk food vegan”, we’re okay with that. That being said, not all of the vegan foods we talk about are health promoting.

We also believe that cooking with plants is by far the most creative. While anyone can throw some cheese or bacon on something and make it taste pretty good, it doesn’t really say much about their culinary ability.

Meanwhile, many talented chefs, bloggers, and home cooks have been busy transforming seemingly bland plant ingredients into masterpieces. We want to make every effort to showcase this talent and provide you with recipes of our own!

Meet the Team

Joey Bruno is Thrive Cuisine’s Nutrition Researcher. He has a Masters in Food Science and Nutrition and is a wannabe vegan chef. Joey also handles all of our public relations and is responsible for site design and maintenance.

Mikey Bruno is the brains behind the Thrive Cuisine. While Joey may steer the ship, Mikey sets the course. With over 5 years of vegan experience, he knows the ins and outs of the lifestyle and is always on top of the latest trends, products, and recipes. He's been a lifelong athlete with a special passion for hockey and weight lifting.

Michelle handles our product reviews and recommendations. Her goal is to help people make the best decision for their kitchen and introduce them to new vegan recipes in the process.
