Have you been searching everywhere for the differences between the Ninja Supra and Mega?
It’s not easy to tell with just a look. Aside from the color of their bases, they look pretty similar. We’ll help you determine which one you should get with this comparison.
By the end of this comparison post, you’ll know what’s the same and what’s different between them, as well as how to decide which one is better for you. To top it off, we’ll give you our personal recommendation.
Ninja Supra vs Mega Summary
The Ninja Supra Kitchen System is an excellent example of a versatile blender. It combines two appliances in one: a food processor and a blender. You get the added bonus of two to-go cups, as well, which you can use for personal drinks.
The Ninja Mega Kitchen System is an evolution of the Supra. It makes some very minor upgrades to the system, such as a more powerful motor and petite size. Of course, you’ll also get the to-go cups and the food processor attachment, as well. This is the pick for you when you’re looking for the most powerful blending possible.
All the Ninja Mega Kitchen System did was make upgrades to the Supra. But because it made only positive changes, our recommendation is to pick the Ninja Mega. You only stand to gain with this blender, because it’s more powerful and gives you all the same features of the Supra.

If you’re normally worried about BPA being in your plastic, you don’t need to worry anymore with either the Supra or the Mega. As both are designed without BPA, you can safely drink or eat recipes from the pitchers, cups, and food processor without the added worry of chemicals in the materials.
This isn’t something that will have any impact to your daily use. However, it will give you valuable peace of mind that some other blenders won’t, and that can be priceless.
Cleaning up often takes more time than we’d like. You’d probably rather be doing other things than sitting there scrubbing out a blending jar.
The Supra and Mega account for this by having dishwasher-safe parts by design. You won’t need to spend long minutes scrubbing all their corners, because you can just put them in the dishwasher when you’re done with them.
Food Processor Attachments
A food processor attachment is what really puts the Mega and Supra in a class of their own. Neither one is merely a blender; they’re both two different useful kitchen appliances combined into one convenient package.
When you’re in the mood for a smoothie or margarita, you can throw on the blender pitcher and crush ice or frozen fruits. But if you decide you’re going to make a delicious and decadent batch of cookies, then you can use the food processor to evenly mix up your dough for you, too.
At the end of the day, it’s amazing to have these options.
Suction Cup Bases
With some particularly powerful blenders, you have to deal with the vibrations of the motor causing them to “walk” across your counter during use. This jittery movement isn’t just annoying – it’s potentially dangerous and messy. If your blender were to walk right off the edge of your counter, you’d have a real mess on your hands.
That’s why the Supra and Mega both have suction cups on the bottom of their bases. These cups stick to your counter, keeping them firmly in place no matter how much they vibrate.
An added benefit to these cups is that they also prevent the blenders from falling over should you ever bump into them. That could be a boon in cramped kitchens, where limited space makes it too easy to knock things over.
Blending Jar Capacity
Have you ever been forced to make multiple batches of something whenever you’re serving a group to make sure there’s enough for everyone? It’s both a waste of time and it’s tedious. Plus, between batches, you can’t always guarantee everything is consistently good, which means some people might get better-tasting servings than others.
This won’t be an issue anymore with either the Supra or the Mega. Because of their massive 72-ounce pitchers, you can make plenty at one time rather than having to make more than one batch.
To-Go Cups and Lids
On the opposite end of the spectrum, sometimes you end up with more than you need, which can lead to unnecessary waste. These Ninjas have an answer to that problem, too.
Both the Supra and Mega include to-go cups that are enough for a single serving. You can blend directly into them, then screw on a lid to take them with you. This setup is a dream for anyone who’s dedicated to daily smoothies.
Different types of blenders have their own settings you can use, whether it’s a dial, numbers, or programs for various specific ingredients. On the Supra and Mega, these settings are identical.
On either one, you’ll get a dough, blend, crush, single-serve, and pulse button. These controls are simple, self-explanatory, and easy to use.
There honestly aren’t many differences between the Supra and Mega, but one of the most apparent ones is their size.
If you’d assume that the more powerful Mega must be larger, you’d be pleasantly surprised. It’s actually the smaller of the two blenders, measuring at 9.50 x 8.25 x 17.75 inches.
The Supra, on the other hand, is 16.70 x 15.70 x 11.70 inches. Its larger size also means it’s a little bit heavier, weighing 15.74 pounds as opposed to the Mega’s light 9.20 pounds.
In other words, if you don’t have much room to spare in your kitchen, the Mega is probably the better choice for you.
The only other difference between the Supra and Mega is their power.
With its 1200-watt base, the Supra is slightly less powerful than the Mega, which has a 1500-watt base. Your wattage impacts how strong the blender is, meaning how easily it can chop up ingredients in the pitcher.
Those who are looking for as much power as they can get will prefer the Mega. It has the muscle necessary to blend pretty much anything you’d need.
The Supra is certainly no slouch, though, and you’d still be able to crush tough ingredients with it, as well.
Which One Should You Get?
As you can see, there really isn’t a whole lot of difference between the Supra and the Mega. It’s easy to get confused when you look at them, wondering if there even are any differences.
A close examination will reveal that the only impactful difference is the stronger motor and more compact size of the Mega. In all other aspects, they’re virtually identical.
That’s why our vote goes to the Ninja Mega. With the Mega, you have access to all the convenience of the Supra with the added benefit of increased powerful in a smaller package.
