Imagine the perfect breakfast table, laden with everything you need to have the best breakfast. What kinds of foods are spread on top of that table? We’d be willing to bet that, somewhere on your table, there’s a plate of waffles.
And no one could blame you for that – waffles have been the heart of breakfasts all over the world for a long time. There’s just something about them that belongs on your plate at breakfast. They almost make you feel like you’re eating dessert without being too indulgent.
To ensure you can eat this delicious breakfast staple in good conscience, we’ve created this vegan blueberry waffle recipe.
For most people, breakfast happens first thing in the morning. If you’ve got work or school, you’re most likely in a rush, and you don’t have time to put together an elaborate breakfast buffet.
That’s why this recipe is so amazing. We didn’t call it “quick and easy” for no reason! You could easily throw these waffles together in as little as twenty minutes.
Speed and simplicity are pretty convincing reasons to make something, but those aren’t the only reasons you should try out this recipe. This recipe is also:
- Sweet
- Crave-worthy
- Comforting
All of which are great qualities to have on your breakfast plate.
Let’s talk about how easy this recipe actually is. First of all, there are only five steps you need to do before you’ve got these tasty waffles sitting on your plate.

Second, aside from preheating your waffle maker and giving your blueberries a wash, there’s no prep whatsoever. There’s nothing quite as annoying as having to waste all this time preparing the ingredients for a meal, so not having to deal with that is what makes these waffles a breath of fresh air.
Recipe Overview
Now let’s take a look at the actual recipe itself. As we just mentioned, there are only five steps.
You’ll have two types of ingredients: wet and dry. Your wet ingredients get mixed together in one bowl, and your dry ingredients get mixed together in another bowl.
Then you just pour your wet ingredients over your dry ones and mix them all together. This mixture gets poured into your waffle maker once it’s been preheated. Make sure you pour enough in to cover the waffle mold.
Cook it in your waffle maker for approximately ten minutes. When it’s ready, your waffle should be golden brown.
Take the waffle out and top it with a handful of fresh blueberries and a little sugar. Your waffle is now ready to serve.
