Bananamilk
Reviewers warn that it’s highly addictive. Pros: no artificial preservatives or flavors, rich in omega-3s, and supplemented with an array of vitamins and minerals. Potential cons: tastes a bit like soymilk with blended bananas. In any case, this banana milk is thick, creamy, and delicious. You can bake with it or even cook with it if you’re feeling adventurous — try a little in curry. Check your local natural food store shelves. Note: contains soy and oats (Banana Wave asserts that its Bananamilk is gluten-free).
Ingredients: Filtered Water, Banana Puree, Organic Soymilk (Water, Organic Whole Soybeans), Sugar, Oat Flour, Organic Cold-Pressed Flaxseed Oil, Tricalcium Phosphate, Natural Flavors, Sunflower Lecithin, Sea Salt, Carrageenan, Vitamin A Palmitate, Vitamin C, Vitamin D2, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B12, Vitamin E.

Original
Mild in banana flavor and sweetness, Mooala Original is warming with cinnamon spice. It’s advertised as nut, carrageenan and gluten-free, and from the looks of the ingredients list, it’s most likely soy-free. We suggest it straight up or in baking recipes: sweetened breads, vanilla cakes, muffins…yum. Depending on where you live, you may find it at Whole Foods, Costco, natural foods stores or chain supermarkets. Check Mooala’s online store map. Note: contains sunflower seeds.
Ingredients: Water, Organic Banana Puree, Organic Roasted Sunflower Seed Butter, Sea Salt, Organic Cinnamon, Gellan Gum.
Strawberry
This delicious strawberry-banana milk has a good dose of calcium (about 25% of the RDA) and fairly little sugar (5 grams in a cup). Note: contains sunflower seeds.
Ingredients: Filtered Water, Organic Bananas, Organic Strawberries, Organic Sunflower Seeds, Less Than 2% Of: Calcium & Potassium Fortification (Calcium Carbonate & Potassium Chloride), Vegetable Juice For Color, Pectin, Monk Fruit Juice Concentrate, Organic Strawberry Flavor, Gellan Gum.
Chocolate
Its sugar content (10 grams in a cup) is pretty moderate for what we’ve seen of chocolate milks. Blend it up with ice for a cold, tasty treat. Note: contains sunflower seeds.
Ingredients: Water, Organic Banana Puree, Organic Evaporated Cane Sugar Juice, Organic Sunflower Seeds, Organic Dutch Process Cocoa, Sea Salt, Gellan Gum.
