In this guide, we’ll answer the simple question: Is Progresso Lentil Soup Vegan?
Let’s see the answer…
Is Progresso Lentil Soup Vegan?
The answer is yes! Progresso Lentil Soup does not contain any animal products, making it safe for both vegans and vegetarians. In fact, it’s one of my favorite soups to eat because it’s easy to find and extremely affordable.
You can find this soup at pretty much any local grocery store or convenience store. It’s great in a pinch on vegan road trips or when the power is out. They even make the can super easy to open with the pull top.

The statement even says “vegetarian ingredients”, but don’t worry. There isn’t any milk and eggs in the ingredient statement which means it’s great for us vegans as well!
If you’re wondering why they don’t say vegan – it’s because many big companies seem to be hesitant since there isn’t an “official vegan certification”. Oh well.
This particular statement came from the Target website (linked above) and they really did have “vegetarian ingredients” in there.
