- 1/2 cup Rolled Oats (or porridge oats which work fine for this recipe too)
- 1/2 cup Apple Juice (unsweetened is recommended since additional sweeteners are used)
- 1 tbsp Maple Syrup or Sweetener of Choice
- 1 Medium-sized Apple (grated or chopped)
- 1/4 cup Blueberries
- ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon (to taste)
- 1 tsp Sea salt
Put together the oats and the cinnamon in the mason jar. Adjust the amount of the ground cinnamon. Mix properly by shaking the mason jar.
Stir in the apple juice, making sure that all of the oats are evenly soaked.
Sweeten the mixture with the maple syrup or other sweetener, depending on the level of sweetness desired.
Top the mixture with the apples, which can either be chopped or grated, as well as the blueberries.
Cover the mason jar and refrigerate it overnight. Your overnight oats with apple juice should be ready the following morning!
Garnish with nuts if you have them on hand (optional)
