Equipment

  • Mason Jar

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats (or porridge oats which work fine for this recipe too)
  • 1/2 cup Apple Juice (unsweetened is recommended since additional sweeteners are used)
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup or Sweetener of Choice
  • 1 Medium-sized Apple (grated or chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Blueberries
  • ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon (to taste)
  • 1 tsp Sea salt

Instructions

  • Put together the oats and the cinnamon in the mason jar. Adjust the amount of the ground cinnamon. Mix properly by shaking the mason jar.
  • Stir in the apple juice, making sure that all of the oats are evenly soaked.
  • Sweeten the mixture with the maple syrup or other sweetener, depending on the level of sweetness desired.
  • Top the mixture with the apples, which can either be chopped or grated, as well as the blueberries.
  • Cover the mason jar and refrigerate it overnight. Your overnight oats with apple juice should be ready the following morning!
  • Garnish with nuts if you have them on hand (optional)
