Instructions
Peel the ripe banana and slice it into pieces. Place the banana slices in the freezer for at least an hour for an extra frosty and creamy smoothie. Frozen blueberries work best as well, but you can use fresh ones if needed.
Combine the frozen banana, frozen blueberries, almond milk, cocoa powder, almond butter, yogurt, and maple syrup in a blender. If using additional greens, such as kale or spinach, add those next.
